Description:
IEEE Standards based - Power
Over Ethernet (POE) solves the age old problem of how to
power all those useful LAN based appliances without needing
an AC outlet at every point of application. We all know the
nightmare of developing a really neat LAN network only to
face the reality of not being able to find readily available
power at every node. IEEE 802.3af solves this by providing a
common framework with which all devices can be designed to
operate from. I have worked with both the source end and
application end of 802.3af - I understand the
specifications, safety measures needed and limitations of
the specification.
- Design of compliant AC
or DC to 48 volt source modules.
- Design of single or
multiple output application power supplies.
- High efficiency - even
with isolated outputs possible.
- Low conducted / radiated
EMI designs.
- Fully IEEE802.3af
compliant designs.
- Fast design times -
using the components in your supply chain.
- Environmentally rugged
designs, -40 to 70 Deg C operating range, fully ESD
protected.
* The Hirschmann hub
is a really well built device and highly recommended for
industrial applications.
