Description:
This 50 Watt Step down
(buck) power converter is packaged into less than 1 square
inch. This state of the art power density is achieved by the
use of the latest semiconductors, inductors and over 20
years of power supply design experience. A relatively low
switching frequency allows the switching waveform edges to
be kept slower than MHz converters - these slow switching
edges significantly reduce peak-peak noise and the EMI
emissions without lowering efficiency. Flexible input
voltages from 5 to 36 VDC and adjustable output voltages
from 0.8 to 9 volts at up to 10 Amps / 50 Watts allow for
many uses with the same basic design. Other features are
integral poly-phase clock-in and clock out signals
- 5-36 VDC input / 0.8-9
VDC output at 10 amps up to 50 watts.
- Up to 96%
efficiency.
- Completely short circuit
to ground protected.
- Low noise 250 KHz
switching frequency (syncronizable from 150-500
kHz)
- Direct poly-phase
operation.
- 20 mV p-p output noise
for a 5 Volt / 10 Amp output.
- Fully input and output
filtered.
- No external components
required.
- Designed for flexible
volume manufacturing line.
- Very low parts count /
low semiconductor unction temperature.
- Environmentally rugged
design, -40 to 70 Deg C operating range, fully ESD
protected.
